merchandise. It is designed around the feeling of finding Pokémon in a
world that appears to belong to them.
Opened on February 5, 2026, the attraction is located within
Yomiuriland in Inagi, west of central Tokyo. Its two principal
environments—Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town—create a different pace from
a conventional ride-heavy theme park.

Pokémon Forest
The forest is an encounter trail rather than a collection of thrill
rides. Full-scale Pokémon figures and scenes reward children who enjoy
searching, spotting details and comparing what they see with the Pokédex

The forest route includes uneven and sloped terrain. Families should
read the current accessibility and age guidance before buying tickets,
especially when traveling with a stroller, limited mobility or very

Sedge Town
Sedge Town provides the more structured attraction atmosphere, with

Other Yomiuriland attractions may need separate tickets. Children under
three can enter Sedge Town without a ticket.
Some shops and shows require limited-access tickets requested through
the park app after entering Yomiuriland and after 10:45. Trainer’s and
Town passes do not include the two rides: buy timed tickets at the
relevant kiosk. Ace holders receive one priority use of each listed

For admissions from November 2026, overseas
purchasers and companions must bring original passports

Getting There
PokéPark KANTO is inside Yomiuriland, in the Inagi area rather than
central Tokyo. Families should follow the official access route for
their date and ticket. The journey involves suburban rail and the final
park connection, so allow more time than a typical central-Tokyo
attraction.
Do not schedule a fixed dinner across the city immediately after the
visit. Queues, shows and tired children can make the return
unpredictable.
How Long to Allow

children want to explore slowly or you add separately ticketed

Pokémon Forest requires visitors to be at least five on the
visit day. Under-fives cannot enter even when carried or in a
stroller; an accompanying guardian cannot enter with them. The route
includes steep terrain and a 110-step staircase. Restrictions also cover
pregnancy and difficulty safely negotiating the stairs independently,
among other conditions. A stairlift serves a limited section; check the

For a mixed-age family, decide who will stay with the younger child
in Sedge Town and which eligible adults will enter the Forest. A
